Role Description:
Zero Waste Palestine raises awareness about environmental issues and empowers households to adopt sustainable practices. Our mission is to promote simplicity in everyday life by equipping individuals with the knowledge and motivation to live sustainably. We also advocate for environmental justice and amplify local stories that inspire collective action and change.
We're looking for a **detail-oriented Funding & Grants Research Volunteer** to help identify and secure funding opportunities that support Zero Waste Palestine's non-profit work. The role involves researching grants, pitch competitions, and other funding channels—both locally and globally - that align with our mission. You'll also support the preparation of applications and help mobilise resources for impactful environmental initiatives.
**Responsibilities:**
- Research and compile relevant grant and funding opportunities (Palestine + global).
- Track deadlines, eligibility criteria, and submission requirements in a shared database.
- Support the preparation of funding applications and proposals.
- Suggest creative and strategic funding ideas.
- Contribute to building relationships with donors, partners, and supporters.
Time Commitment:
Volunteer 4-6 hours per week for 3-5 months remotely.
