Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Plant Operator to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our industrial plant, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and efficiency.

  • Operate and monitor complex plant equipment, machinery, and control systems to maintain efficient production processes
  • Supervise and train junior operators, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure smooth operations
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plant equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain continuous plant operations
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards
  • Analyze production data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize plant performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, engineering, and quality control, to enhance overall plant efficiency
  • Participate in emergency response procedures and implement corrective actions when necessary
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in plant operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in plant operations, with a proven track record of success
  • Advanced knowledge of plant operations, processes, and industrial equipment
  • Strong proficiency in operating and maintaining complex industrial machinery and control systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
  • In-depth understanding of safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, schematics, and operational manuals
  • Experience with computerized control systems.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to train and mentor junior operators
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as Certified Plant Operator, are highly desirable
  • Knowledge of industrial processes specific to the plant's operations (e.g., oil and gas, petrochemicals, manufacturing)
  • Familiarity with local and international safety standards and regulations
  • Ability to work in hot climate conditions
