This full-time, non-management role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in line with Marriott ;Key Responsibilitiesbr>Carry out routine and preventive maintenance across hotel facilitiesRespond promptly to maintenance requests from guest rooms and operational areasInspect tools, equipment, and systems to ensure safe and efficient operationPerform basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, and painting repairsReplace light bulbs, switches, sockets, air conditioning filters, and minor fixturesSupport maintenance of kitchen equipment, plant rooms, and utility systemsApply lockout and tagout procedures before starting maintenance workMaintain accurate maintenance logs and inventory recordsIdentify safety hazards and report faults according to hotel proceduresSupport energy efficiency and equipment performance initiativesUse basic computer systems for maintenance reporting and temperature adjustmentsDesired Candidate ProfileIdeal Profilebr>High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in general maintenance or building services preferredHotel or hospitality maintenance experience is an advantageBasic technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysically capable of handling tools, equipment, and routine maintenance tasksStrong awareness of safety, quality, and service standards
