Position : Sales & Business Setup Consultant.

About us : Fanar Advisor is a UAE-based business advisory firm specializing in company formation, regulatory compliance, and strategic expansion solutions across the GCC region.

Location : Business Bay, Dubai, UAE (Full time, Onsite)

Role Summary / Purpose

We're seeking a results-driven consultant who can both drive sales growth and enable new business setup (market entry, operations, partnerships, licensing, compliance) for FanarAdvisor. This is not a pure advisory role, we expect you to roll up sleeves, execute, and deliver measurable outcomes.

You will work closely with the leadership team to translate strategy into action, build revenue pipelines and ensure highest level of Customer Satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development


• Own lead generation pipelines: prospecting, qualification, follow-up, closing.


• Manage full sales cycle (from outreach to contract negotiations and closure).


• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, strategic accounts, partners, and stakeholders.


• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, verticals, or geographies.


• Collaborate with marketing, operations, product teams to design compelling proposals / value propositions.


• Monitor sales metrics / KPIs; analyze performance, iterate strategies.


• Train or support internal sales team (if/when you scale).

Business Setup / Market Entry / Strategic Planning


• Conduct market research and feasibility studies for new regions, verticals, or product/service expansions.


• Define business setup plans: operational models, partner structures, licensing/compliance needs, legal structuring, cost & revenue models.


• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate partnerships, alliances, vendor relationships, channel partners.


• Create roadmaps for implementation: timelines, resource requirements, budgets, risk assessments.


• Oversee execution of business setup efforts (e.g. registration, licensing, vendor onboarding, local operations).


• Monitor regulatory, legal, compliance changes in relevant markets.


• Provide strategic input to leadership (what to enter, when, how).

Cross-functional coordination & execution


• Work closely with finance, legal, operations, product teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution.


• Provide status reports, dashboards, and business reviews to leadership.


• Identify internal bottlenecks, process improvements, and drive efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience


• Atleast 2 – 5 years of relevant experience in setting up Businesss and companies across all the UAE Freezones, Mainland, VARA and ADGM.


• Proven track record of closing deals, hitting quotas, scaling pipelines


• Strong analytical skills — ability to forcast Sales, forecast, assess ROI, do scenario planning


• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation skills in English.


• Arabic language proficiency would be an added advantage.


• Should have experience working with CRM tools.


• Commercial acumen, understanding of P&L, margins, cost structures


• Self-starter attitude; ability to work with ambiguity and take ownership

Educational Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or similar (MBA or equivalent is a plus).
