Job Summary

We are seeking a 
Technical Office & Tendering Engineer
 with a strong 
fit-out background
 to manage technical submissions, tender documentation, cost estimation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in UAE fit-out projects, authority approvals, and tendering procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Office Duties

  • Review IFC drawings, specifications, and BOQs to identify scope, discrepancies, and risks
  • Prepare and manage 
    shop drawings
    , 
    material submittals
    , 
    method statements
    , and 
    technical submissions
  • Coordinate with designers, project managers, site teams, and suppliers to resolve technical issues
  • Maintain proper documentation control and submission logs

Tendering & Estimation Duties

  • Prepare 
    tender documents
    , take-offs, and cost estimates for fit-out projects
  • Analyze tender drawings and specifications to develop accurate pricing
  • Obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers and perform technical & commercial evaluation
  • Prepare 
    value engineering proposals
     and cost optimization options
  • Assist in tender clarifications, pre-bid meetings, and post-tender negotiations

Coordination & Support

  • Support project execution team with technical clarifications during construction
  • Assist in variation pricing and technical justification
  • Coordinate with procurement for material approvals and long-lead items
  • Ensure all submissions are aligned with project program and milestones

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in 
    Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field

Experience

  • Minimum 
    3 years UAE experience
     in 
    interior fit-out / contracting
  • Proven experience in 
    technical office and tendering roles
  • Strong understanding of 
    UAE market standards
    , materials, and authority approval processes

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficient in 
    AutoCAD
    , 
    MS Office
    , and estimation tools
  • Strong knowledge of 
    fit-out materials, finishes, and MEP coordination
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Preferred

  • Experience with 
    hotel, commercial, retail, or high-end residential fit-out projects
