About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Offshore Engineer Trainee to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate with a background in mechanical, instrumentation, or electrical engineering to gain hands-on experience in the offshore industry. As a trainee, you will be involved in various aspects of offshore engineering, working alongside experienced professionals and contributing to the successful execution of projects. This 3-month engagement, with the potential for extension based on performance, offers comprehensive training and development opportunities. The role is based on Sadiyat Island, and the company will provide accommodation, travel, and necessary certifications. The ideal candidate should be proficient in MS Excel and available to start immediately, with onboarding completed in December 2025 and the engagement commencing on January 2nd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior engineers in the planning, design, and execution of offshore projects.
  • Conduct data analysis and prepare reports using MS Excel.
  • Participate in site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Support the development and maintenance of engineering documentation.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and hazard identification studies.
  • Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.
  • Learn and apply relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of all engineering activities.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Engineering graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Mandatory).
  • Availability to work in the UAE on a resident or visit visa.
  • Ability to start immediately, with onboarding in December 2025 and engagement starting January 2nd.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Basic understanding of offshore engineering principles.
Additional Information

This is a 3-month engagement with the possibility of extension based on performance. The company will provide accommodation, travel, and necessary certifications. The role is based on Sadiyat Island.
