About The Role

• Assist the bartender in the opening and closing side duties
• Keep the bar and the bar area clean by wiping surfaces, removing soiled glassware, emptying trash and cleaning coolers and storage areas
• Polish and shine glassware, silverware and other utensils on the bar area
• Refill and restock the bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as per the PAR stock as well as straws, napkins, towels, glassware and all the utensils needed
• Collect dirty glasses and solid wares, take them to the dishwashing area and bring out clean ones
• Memorize the beverages menu and cocktail recipes
• Provides a link between kitchen and service areas
• Provides table and/or counter service of alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages
• Provides advice on food and beverage to guests
• Receives and stores food and beverage adhering to all food hygiene regulations and procedures
• Consistently monitors quality of food and beverage being served and report to the supervisor or assistant outlet manager
• Actively uses up-selling techniques to exceed guests' expectations and increase revenue
• Read and understand the important note and briefing topic every day,
• Do not leave the allocated section without prior approval of the immediate supervisor
• Follow superior instruction, contact manager if you are not completely convinced with the immediate supervisor's instruction.
• Actively take part in food and beverage support requirement,
• Actively take part and ensure to follow SOS and SOP of the particular department,
• Able to work in outdoor environment considering pool and beach operations and weather conditions
• Understand the changes required for the restaurant/beach/pool operation and to be able to adapt to it
• Need to be honest and responsible for his/her action,
• Take responsibility of his/her weekly task given by immediate supervisor.
• Take responsibility of the department equipment and control the breakage and loses to maximize the department profit,
• Utilize the learning from internal or external trainings,
• Need to be flexible to work in different Job Specification in his/her own department
• Basic abilities required from fast food type restaurants with effective skills for upselling and guests interaction

About You

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Prior experience in high volume restaurants preferable
• Outgoing and confident who is flexible and a great team player
• Dynamic, energetic, creative individual with a positive "can do" attitude.
• Multi-tasking capability without compromising on quality.
• Punctual and able to work flexible hours.
• Confident to deal with peers and senior colleagues
• Excellent Communication skills
