Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced
Construction Document Controller
to manage, organize, and control all project documentation for ongoing construction projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate document flow between consultants, contractors, and internal teams while maintaining compliance with company and project standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain all construction project documents (drawings, RFIs, submittals, method statements, approvals, reports, etc.).
  • Control issuance, receipt, tracking, and distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure documents are correctly numbered, version-controlled, and updated as per project requirements.
  • Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems in compliance with company procedures.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors regarding document submissions and approvals.
  • Track document status and follow up on pending approvals or revisions.
  • Prepare and submit regular document control reports to the project team.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive project documentation.
  • Support audits and handover documentation at project completion.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience
    as a Document Controller in the UAE construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction documentation processes and standards.
  • Proficiency in
    EDMS / Aconex / Procore / Viewpoint
    or similar document control systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
