We have an urgent requirement for Performance Testing Specialist – strong exp - JMeter / K6 / Gatling for one of our banking client in Abu Dhabi, UAE

  • Strong experience in JMeter / K6 / Gatling – hands-on scripting, correlation, and test design is MUST for this role

  • Strong experience in API, Web, and Mobile application performance and scalability testing is MUST for this role
  • Strong experience in frontend rendering, API latency, and backend throughput analysis is MUST for this role

We are looking for a hands-on Performance Test Engineer who will play a critical role in ensuring our digital channels—spanning API, Web, and Mobile platforms—deliver fast, reliable, and scalable performance. From designing and executing robust performance test strategies to identifying system bottlenecks and optimizing application scalability, you will help us deliver high-performing, seamless user experiences.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in tools such as JMeter, K6, or Gatling, and a strong understanding of performance behavior across modern distributed systems. You will collaborate closely with Development, DevOps, and SRE teams to ensure our systems meet defined SLAs and user experience benchmarks.

  • Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts for API, Web, and Mobile platforms using JMeter / K6 / Gatling or equivalent tools.
  • Define and conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests to evaluate system behavior under varying workloads.
  • Analyze application performance across frontend, middleware, and backend layers to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Build realistic workload models and establish performance baselines aligned with business transactions and traffic patterns.
  • Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Mobile App, and Infrastructure teams to diagnose and resolve performance issues.
  • Perform detailed root cause analysis and recommend tuning and optimization strategies.
  • Integrate performance tests within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab) for continuous validation.
  • Leverage APM and observability tools such as Dynatrace and Grafana for monitoring, visualization, and alerting.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as response time, throughput, latency, error rate, and resource utilization.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive performance reports and dashboards to leadership and technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing and engineering.
  • Strong proficiency with JMeter, K6, or Gatling (or equivalent performance testing tools).
  • Proven experience in API, Web, and Mobile application performance and scalability testing.
  • Solid understanding of frontend rendering, API latency, and backend throughput analysis.
  • Exposure to mobile performance testing tools (e.g., Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack, Android Profiler, Xcode Instruments).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and integrating performance tests into build pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Dynatrace, Grafana, or equivalent observability platforms.
  • Knowledge of containerized and cloud environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure).
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and system-tuning skills.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
