Store Keeper Duties:
- Receive, inspect, and store materials and equipment in designated storage areas
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock registers or software regularly
- Issue materials as per approved requisitions and maintain proper documentation
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist in annual inventory audits
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials
- Monitor material expiry, damages, or discrepancies and report them immediately
- Coordinate with procurement, site teams, and suppliers for deliveries and stock requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the storage area
Document Controller Duties:
- Control and manage project-related documents such as drawings, submittals, reports, and correspondence
- Maintain document logs (incoming/outgoing) and ensure all documents are properly filed and updated
- Distribute controlled copies of documents to relevant personnel
- Scan, copy, and file hard and soft copies of documents in a systematic manner
- Ensure documents are easy to retrieve and are backed up regularly
- Assist with preparing reports, tracking revisions, and maintaining version control
- Ensure document security and confidentiality at all times
- Liaise with site engineers, project managers, and office staff for document-related queries
Requirements:
- High school diploma or relevant technical qualification (Diploma preferred)
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a similar role in the UAE or GCC
- Strong knowledge of storekeeping and document control procedures
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and document control software (e.g., MS Office, ERP, EDMS)
- Good organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently under minimal supervision
- Basic knowledge of construction materials (for construction/engineering projects) is an advantage
