About the Role

Alpha General Trading is a leading supplier of high-quality packaging and disposable solutions (Kraft, Plastic, PET Jars) across the UAE. We are looking for a professional, reliable, and hardworking
Delivery Driver
to join our logistics team. You will be responsible for ensuring that our products reach our clients safely, on time, and with a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Deliveries:
    Safely transport and deliver goods to clients across UAE.
  • Loading & Unloading:
    Assist in the careful loading of goods into the van and unloading at client locations, ensuring no damage to fragile packaging items.
  • Route Optimization:
    Plan efficient routes using GPS/Google Maps to ensure timely deliveries and fuel efficiency.
  • Vehicle Maintenance:
    Conduct daily checks of the vehicle (oil, tires, cleanliness) and report any mechanical issues immediately.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure all delivery notes/invoices are signed by the customer.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • License:
    Must possess a valid
    UAE Manual Driving License
    (Category 3).
  • Experience:
    Minimum 2–3 years of driving experience in the UAE.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Packaging, Disposable, or Household goods industry.
  • Geographical Knowledge:
    Thoroughly familiar with the roads and main industrial areas of
    Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman
    .
  • GPS:
    Proficient in using smartphone applications for navigation (Google Maps/Waze).
  • Languages:
    *
    Required:
    Basic English and Hindi.
  • Added Advantage:
    Knowledge of Malayalam or Arabic.
  • Experience and Knowledge in Sales is preferred and valued.

  • Punctuality:
    Strict adherence to delivery schedules and timings.
  • Professional Conduct:
    Polite and respectful communication with customers and warehouse staff.
  • Communication:
    Ability to provide clear updates to the office regarding delivery status or delays.
  • Integrity:
    High level of honesty and responsibility toward the vehicle and the company's goods.
