Director of International Education and Scholarship Support

General Objective
To oversee the implementation of activities related to the department's work, participate in shaping general policies and strategies, and monitor the execution of the department's operational plans.
Manage the organizational units under the department, monitor their performance, and prepare reports to prevent duplication of objectives and tasks. Prepare the department's proposed strategic and operational plan, develop performance indicators, and ensure their achievement. Receive applications for enrollment in the scholarship and grant programs, and approve them according to approved conditions and criteria. Coordinate with relevant departments to develop digital mechanisms and systems for providing scholarship and international education services. Coordinate with relevant sectors in the Ministry of Education to plan, implement, and manage digital systems for attracting students to scholarship and grant programs. Participate in developing general policies, standards, regulations, and requirements for scholarships, regularly updating them and monitoring compliance.
Strengthen relationships with external partners to establish strategic partnerships, motivate internal partners, and manage change to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Provide necessary support to the direct supervisor and perform any other assigned tasks. Support students in application, enrollment, and orientation regarding scholarship and grant policies and procedures. Lead, guide, review, and approve work procedures, methodologies, performance indicators, and quality standards for department operations, and propose improvements. Monitor administrative operations such as planning, budgeting, reporting, and service delivery, and evaluate and enhance them. Assist students seeking enrollment in scholarship and grant programs in obtaining the required academic admission in accredited universities, in coordination with relevant authorities. Develop the annual student recruitment plan for scholarships in alignment with the approved annual scholarship plan. Implement internal plans to promote team-building culture and continuous learning to ensure the highest quality of work.
Desired Candidate Profile- A Master's degree in International Education, Higher Education Administration, or a related field is required, a doctorate is preferred.
- Possess certifications like Certified Education Professional (CEP) or similar is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in international education administration, including program management and staff supervision.
- Proven experience working within higher education sector, with a focus on international student services and scholarship administration.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role, with a track record of successfully managing and motivating a team.
- Experience in cross-cultural communication and sensitivity, with a strong understanding of diverse cultural perspectives.
