Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Specialist Trauma General Surgery to join our client's dynamic and highly esteemed team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in trauma surgery and possess a passion for providing compassionate and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform surgical procedures, both elective and emergency, on patients with traumatic injuries.
  • Participate in the management and treatment of patients in the trauma ward.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, considering their medical history, current condition, and available resources.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, anesthesiologists, and radiologists, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Educate patients and family members on their condition, treatment options, and post-operative care.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and techniques in trauma surgery and actively participate in continuing education programs.
  • Adhere to established protocols and guidelines in the delivery of patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in General Surgery.
  • Sub-specialization in Trauma Surgery.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trauma surgery.
  • Extensive knowledge of surgical procedures and techniques.
  • Proficient in using advanced surgical instruments and technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong decision-making and critical thinking abilities.
  • Passion for providing compassionate and exceptional patient care.
  • Must be Western-trained, with experience in leading healthcare environments.
