Job Summary

The Freelance Odoo Consultant will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, implementing and configuring Odoo ERP solutions, and providing functional support on a project basis. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to ensure Odoo modules align with business processes and deliver efficient, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and recommend suitable Odoo solutions
  • Configure and implement Odoo modules (Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, HR, CRM, etc.)
  • Customize workflows and system settings to match business needs
  • Coordinate with developers for advanced customizations and integrations
  • Conduct system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Provide user training and functional documentation
  • Assist with data migration and system setup
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and provide ongoing support during the contract period
  • Ensure best practices and Odoo standards are followed

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an Odoo Consultant (freelance or full-time)
  • Strong functional knowledge of Odoo ERP modules
  • Ability to work independently and manage deliverables remotely
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience with business process mapping and ERP implementation

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Odoo Certification (Functional or Technical)
  • Basic technical knowledge (Python, XML, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with multi-company or multi-currency environments
  • Experience working with SMEs or startups

Deliverables (Examples)

  • Configured and implemented Odoo modules
  • Functional documentation and user guides
  • Training sessions for end users
  • Post-implementation support during contract period

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
