We are seeking a skilled Procurement Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, sewerage, water networks, or civil works). The ideal candidate will manage procurement activities, vendor negotiation, material sourcing, and ensure timely delivery of project requirements in line with project specifications and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review project specifications, BOQs, drawings, and material requirements.
  • Prepare RFQs, compare quotations, and evaluate supplier proposals.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers/subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain approved vendor lists and supplier databases.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, planning, and cost control teams.
  • Ensure materials comply with project specifications and client standards.
  • Issue purchase orders and follow up on material delivery and logistics.
  • Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Prepare procurement reports, purchase logs, and tracking sheets.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and ISO standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement for infrastructure / civil projects in UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of materials related to utilities, sewerage, water networks, and civil construction.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of SAP ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of vendor sourcing and cost analysis.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement priorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8, AED10,000.00 per month
