Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer – Automation to join our technical service team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in marine automation systems, troubleshooting, and field servicing, with a proactive approach to customer support and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, repair, and troubleshoot Electrical & Automation (E&A) systems on marine vessels.
  • Interpret and work with electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Calibrate and service field instruments such as transmitters and positioners.
  • Perform system retrofits and upgrades to improve automation performance.
  • Execute unplanned/emergency maintenance to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Maintain detailed service reports, QA checklists, and customer service logs.
  • Identify sales opportunities during service visits and provide technical input.
  • Coordinate with managers and operations teams for vessel embarkation/disembarkation.
  • Assist Technical Managers in training sessions, solution design, and cost estimation.

  • ODME (Oil Discharge Monitoring Equipment)
  • 15ppm Bilge Alarm
  • PAGA System
  • Thruster Control Systems
  • PMS (Power Management Systems)
  • AMS (Alarm Monitoring Systems)
  • Auxiliary Engine Synchronization and related marine automation systems

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Automation Engineering.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience (Marine Automation background preferred).
  • Strong understanding of marine electrical and control systems.
  • Valid UAE Driving License – preferred.
  • Ability to travel offshore and join vessels when required.
  • Immediate joiners will be given priority.
