Are you a skilled Diagnostic Technician with a passion for automotive diagnostics and advanced vehicle systems? We are looking for a highly capable Diagnostic Technician to join our service team and play a crucial role in maintaining performance excellence and customer satisfaction. In this role, you'll work closely with technicians, service advisors, and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues using the latest diagnostic tools and methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose complex electronic systems with precision using guided fault-finding programs and VDS testers.
- Communicate clearly with Service Advisors and customers regarding issues and required repairs.
- Perform in-depth vehicle inspections and verify historical data to support diagnosis.
- Address and resolve warranty campaigns and technical complaints efficiently.
- Maintain technical proficiency by staying current with OEM training and bulletins.
- Ensure technical accuracy in warranty claim documentation and technical reports.
- Liaise with Parts Advisors and Workshop Controllers to ensure timely repair completion.
- Maintain proper use and inventory of special diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Report quality issues, prepare technical documentation, and support junior technicians.
- Support in reducing repeat repairs and enhancing workshop productivity through expert fault analysis.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Service Manager or Master Technician.
Requirements:
- Education: High Diploma in Mechanics or Automotive Mechatronics.
- Certification: Must be a Certified Master Technician.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Senior Mechanic, or Electrician in the automotive industry.
- License: UAE Driving License is mandatory.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
- Software: Proficiency in computerized diagnostic systems and tools.
- Skills & Abilities: Strong understanding of automotive systems, structured fault finding, and ability to mentor others. Professional appearance and communication are essential.
