Position Summary
A small start-up in Abu Dhabi is seeking a reliable and highly organized Data Entry Assistant to help manage digital documentation, expense entries, and tracking tasks across several accounts. This is a mostly remote
hourly
role, approximately 10 hours per week. The Data Entry Assistant will be essential in ensuring all financial records are entered accurately and confidentially. They must have a proven track record of excellent judgment, discretion, and integrity when managing sensitive information.
Day-to-day Responsibilities
- Collect and organize receipts and documents sent via email or messaging apps.
- Input, update, and maintain accurate expense information in a digital system and company databases.
- Review source documents for accuracy and completeness before data entry.
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents and correcting any discrepancies.
- Track reimbursements and follow up when needed.
- Maintain simple weekly summaries or generate reports of completed and pending items as needed.
- Request missing documents from clinics, offices, or service providers.
- Organize and maintain electronic filing systems.
- Perform regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information and comply with data protection protocols.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in data entry or similar administrative role (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- Excellent typing with high accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace. Experience with Concur is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good written English and fluency in English.
- Must be willing to undergo a comprehensive background check.
- Must be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
- Note: No prior experience with expense systems is required — training will be provided. We are looking for genuine organization and detail-orientation.
Compensation
This is an
hourly
role, approximately 10 hours per week. Compensation for the role is an hourly rate of
AED 20.25/hour
. Full training will be provided, and strict confidentiality is required.
