Job description:

We are a licensed homecare organization dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services across Abu Dhabi. We are seeking an experienced Medical Coder & Biller to handle coding, billing, and insurance preauthorization's for our homecare services.

Medical Coding

  • Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes as per DOH and insurance guidelines.
  • Ensure coding compliance and maintain accuracy in claim documentation.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to clarify incomplete or missing documentation.

Medical Billing

  • Prepare, submit, and track insurance claims for homecare services.
  • Handle billing entries, reconciliation, and follow-ups on pending or rejected claims.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies to resolve denials, discrepancies, or claim issues.
  • Maintain accurate billing records and ensure timely reimbursement.

Insurance Preauthorization & Approvals

  • Apply for preauthorization requests for homecare services as per DOH and payer requirements.
  • Follow up closely with insurance providers for approval status.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of all payer policies and authorization criteria.
  • Ensure all approvals are received before initiating services.
  • Communicate approvals and validity periods to the scheduling and clinical teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3, AED3,500.00 per month
