About the Role:

Our client, a leading Marketing & Advertising Agency in the UAE and KSA, is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong experience in advertising/marketing agencies and vendor management. The role requires hands-on experience in managing financial operations, supplier relationships, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records, including bookkeeping, bank, and account reconciliations.
  • Digitally archive all financial documents such as receipts, contracts, invoices, and bank statements.
  • Record and categorize all bank and credit card transactions accurately.
  • Oversee quotation preparation, client invoicing, vendor payments, and supplier relationship management.
  • Monitor advertising and campaign expenditures, ensuring alignment with client billing and budgets.
  • Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and profitability analyses to support business strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, including VAT, payroll, and contract governance.
  • Track accounts receivable, monitor aging reports, and follow up for timely collections.
  • Assist with project costing and financial proposals to support business development initiatives.
  • Prepare and submit monthly financial reports for senior management.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors to ensure audit readiness.
  • Conduct monthly HR-related audits and prepare reports including payroll reconciliations and staff cost allocations.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory: Proven experience as a Senior Accountant within advertising or marketing agencies.
  • Strong exposure to vendor/supplier relationship management.
  • Sound knowledge of UAE VAT, payroll, and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
