Biomedical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Engineer to oversee site management activities and support the development, implementation, and management of clinical technologies within our hospital. This role works closely with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of biomedical systems across the facility.

ey Accountabilities
- Manage hospital site biomedical activities in coordination with the COO
- Develop and implement projects related to clinical technologies, including equipment acquisition, installation oversight, budget negotiation, and cost monitoring
- Conceptualize, design, and implement solutions for complex biomedical systems and programs
- Perform technical analysis, system design, development, conversion, and implementation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date software and technical documentation
- Design and support biomedical products and systems such as medical diagnostic machines and clinical devices
- Ensure safety, functionality, verification, and validation of biomedical equipment prior to use
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for biomedical equipment
- Coordinate testing activities, author test protocols, and prepare product development and validation reports
- Train clinicians and hospital staff on proper equipment usage and best practices
Job Specifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Engineering & Technology, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
- Certification in Biomedical Engineering is required
- Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in a hospital or similar healthcare facility
- Strong command of English; Arabic is an advantage
- Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills
