We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Engineer to join our interior fit-out team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design and execution, ensuring all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems are perfectly integrated into our luxury fit-out projects while meeting strict mall regulations and authority standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Drafting: Create, review, and modify detailed MEP shop drawings (HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, and Electrical) specifically for interior fit-out projects using AutoCAD.
Mall Liaison: Lead the technical submission process with Mall Management and developers (e.g., Dubai Holding ,Emaar, Nakheel, Majid Al Futtaim). Ensure all designs comply with specific tenant fit-out manuals.
Authority Coordination: Manage approvals from local authorities including DEWA/ADDC, Dubai Municipality, and Civil Defence.
Site Execution Support: Work closely with the on-site execution team to resolve technical clashes, provide on-site clarifications, and ensure MEP installations match approved drawings.
Material Procurement: Assist in the selection and technical submittal of MEP materials and equipment.
Testing & Commissioning: Oversee the final testing and commissioning of MEP services before project handover.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Proven track record in the UAE Interior Fit-out industry (Retail, F&B, or Commercial).
Software: Expert proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of UAE building codes, DEWA/DM regulations, and Civil Defence requirements.
Skills: Strong communication skills for negotiating with mall technical teams and managing site subcontractors.
License: A valid UAE Driving License is highly preferred But not Compulsary .
