Bone is a nomadic studio. Blurring the threshold between form and function. We begin by rejecting all conventional design stereotypes, freely exploring, yet methodically studying every theoretical and tangible aspect of design. The approach breaks away from the expected and perceived function, as Bone designs novel spaces that can functionally and aesthetically serve different purposes — reinterpreting the way common spaces are defined.

Project Oversight & Delivery

  • Lead the full lifecycle of projects (concept to handover), ensuring timely delivery and adherence to Bone's quality standards.
  • Prepare and continuously update all of Bone's project timelines; proactively plan resources and provide solutions when faced with delays or accelerated project schedules.
  • Translate design vision into clear, actionable project plans, deliverables, and schedules.
  • Monitor progress against milestones, proactively identifying and resolving risks or delays.
  • Coordinate and oversee all project documentation, including RFPs, contracts, schedules, tender packages, and variation orders.

Studio Operations & Resource Planning

  • Manage and allocate internal resources across simultaneous projects, balancing capacity, deadlines, and budgets.
  • Assign and track the team's daily tasks and activities, ensuring alignment with project priorities and submission requirements.
  • Maintain project dashboards and reports to ensure transparency of progress, timelines, and financials.
  • Implement workflows, systems, and checklists to ensure consistency and efficiency across the studio.
  • Ensure all projects are properly documented, tracked, and archived systematically.

Accounts Support & Commercial Tracking

  • Track project submissions and coordinate with finance and commercial teams to support timely invoice issuance.
  • Track invoices, payment schedules, and variations to align with client and sub-consultant contracts.
  • Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets and cashflows.
  • Ensure that commercial terms are enforced, protecting Bone's interests with clients, contractors, and suppliers.

Client, Consultant & Contractor Coordination

  • Act as the central point of contact between Bone, clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Manage all correspondence, RFIs, approvals, and minutes of meetings.
  • Lead client updates, presentations, and coordination calls, ensuring clarity, alignment, and follow-through.

Site & Construction Oversight

  • Manage site visit schedules, contractor coordination, and reporting on construction progress.
  • Ensure design intent and quality standards are achieved during construction.
  • Support the design team in resolving constructability issues quickly and effectively.

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Mentor junior and mid-level team members, providing direction and support for project delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and detail-oriented culture within the studio.
  • Support leadership in performance reviews and in the professional development of team members.
