Job Title: Abu Dhabi Based Auto Garage Supervisor

Reports To: Garage Owner / Workshop Manager

Job Summary:

The Auto Garage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the workshop, coordinating mechanics and technicians, ensuring timely vehicle repairs, maintaining quality standards, and providing excellent customer service. The role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and communication skills in English, Tamil, and/or Hindi/Malayalam.

Key Responsibilities:Workshop Operations

• Supervise daily operations of the workshop, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of repair jobs.
• Allocate jobs to technicians based on skill level and workload.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor use of tools, equipment, and consumables; ensure proper maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the workshop area.

Customer Coordination

• Receive vehicles, prepare job cards, and understand customer requirements.
• Communicate repair estimates, timelines, and updates to customers.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.

Team Management

• Lead, guide, and motivate mechanics, electricians, and helpers.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and punctuality.
• Conduct regular meetings to review progress and resolve workshop issues.

Inventory & Documentation

• Coordinate with storekeeper for spare parts and materials availability.
• Maintain records of repairs, parts used, and service history.
• Prepare daily and weekly job status reports for management.

Requirements:Education & Experience

• Diploma or ITI in Automobile Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in an auto workshop (supervisor or senior technician level).
• Experience with multi-brand vehicles (Japanese, Korean, European, etc.).

Skills

• Strong technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple jobs.
• Familiar with workshop management systems or manual job tracking.
• Languages: English (required), Tamil/Malayalam/Hindi/Arabic (preferred).
