Responsibilities

  • Fulfill contractual obligations for a full instructional load during each study semester and term.
  • Facilitate student learning, provide effective instruction, and perform evaluations of student
  • Develop course materials including lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, tests, course handouts,  and presentations
  • Conduct teaching in accordance with University requirements (taking attendance, grading, preparing student material).
  • Conduct Assessment as outlined in course syllabus and guided by Program Director.
  • Prepare required course documentations.
  • Support students learning and advise students to achieve their academic goals.
  • Participate in program reviews, curriculum development and research activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years UAE teaching experience at the university level. Practical experience or consulting in the fields of AI, Data Analytics, or Cybersecurity will be an added advantage.
  • Possess an earned terminal degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Expertise in at least two of the following: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Analytics, or Cybersecurity.
  • Demonstrated track record of peer-reviewed publications, preferably with a focus on Scopus/ISI indexed journals.
  • Ability to design and teach foundational and advanced courses in algorithms, programming, AI/ML, and data security.
  • Deep knowledge of relevant programming languages (Python, R, Java) and data analysis/AI libraries.
  • Familiarity with national (CAA) and international (e.g., ABET) accreditation standards.
  • Excellent ability to deliver high-quality, student-centered instruction and mentor student projects.
  • English language proficiency, minimum 7 on the IELTS or 637 TOFEL.
  • Excellent communication skills with proven track records in effective teaching, class management and course delivery and leadership.
  • Proficiency in Arabic Language is preferred.
