We're looking for a
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
to provide part-time, strategic financial leadership to fast-scaling startups and investment-backed firms. This is a
freelance, remote role
designed for a senior finance professional who can deliver clarity, rigour, and insight.

About The Role

You'll serve as a trusted finance partner to founders and boards — overseeing financial planning, building reporting infrastructure, and driving performance visibility.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on finance experience with strategic thinking and thrives in dynamic, high-growth environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Build financial dashboards, controls, and investor reporting processes
  • Lead fundraising readiness and capital-raise modelling (SAFE, convertible, equity)
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and runway analysis
  • Provide board-level financial insight and scenario planning
  • Ensure compliance with UAE corporate tax, VAT, and international accounting standards
  • Collaborate with CEOs, investors, and external accountants to optimise financial operations

About You

You're an analytical, commercially-minded leader who can blend precision with pace.

You're equally comfortable deep in the numbers or presenting financial strategy to investors.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in finance leadership, as CFO or Finance Director
  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
  • Proven experience in
    VC-backed or high-growth organisations
  • Strong command of financial modelling, investor reporting, and fundraising
  • Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills
  • Must hold a valid UAE residence visa and work licence
