Key Responsibilities
- Monitor all construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and workmanship standards
- Maintain a daily log of site activities, including approvals, rejections, resource usage, equipment, and issues encountered
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure proper execution of works and adherence to construction methods
- Interface with the public and nearby stakeholders to minimize construction impacts
- Work closely with inspectors of other disciplines for sampling, materials testing, and quality assurance
- Verify survey lines, levels, and completed work for compliance with design requirements
- Report unsafe or questionable construction methods to the ARE/RE
- Process and track Inspection Requests (IRs) and maintain accurate documentation
- Maintain detailed records for works executed under Day Works basis when required
- Participate actively in all site safety procedures and briefings
- Maintain professionalism while remaining firm and consistent in dealings with contractors
Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related field
- Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and engineering documents
- Computer literate with the ability to maintain records, access project data, and generate reports
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary supervision team
