We are looking for a
Senior Procurement Engineer
to lead and manage procurement operations for our infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, deep understanding of procurement processes, and the ability to manage vendors and material logistics with precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control all documentation related to
    project materials and procurement
    .
  • Align material availability with project timelines and construction schedules.
  • Oversee the full
    materials management lifecycle
    , including planning, sourcing, procurement, delivery, storage, and distribution.
  • Review
    BOQs, technical specs, and drawings
    to identify suitable suppliers.
  • Coordinate and issue
    RFQs
    , evaluate vendor offers, and prepare comparative analysis reports.
  • Prepare and issue
    purchase orders
    ensuring cost-effectiveness and technical compliance.
  • Monitor
    delivery schedules
    , vendor performance, and supply chain risks.
  • Provide accurate, timely input into project scheduling and contingency planning.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth procurement operations.
  • Negotiate terms to meet pricing, delivery, and contract requirements.
  • Lead procurement planning and reporting efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of
    10 years of experience
    in procurement, preferably in
    infrastructure or construction
    .
  • Knowledge of
    internal audit procedures
    is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in
    MS Office
    and procurement tools.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
