Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves producing detailed technical drawings and plans for interior design projects using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and an ability to translate conceptual designs into precise technical representations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed interior design drawings and plans using AutoCAD and other CAD software.
- Work closely with interior designers and architects to translate design concepts into technical plans.
- Ensure all CAD drawings are compliant with industry and company standards.
- Coordinate with consultants for seamless integration.
- Update and revise drawings as necessary based on changes to design plans or project requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for design proposals, presentations, and reports.
- Manage and maintain project file organization, including CAD files, plans, and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in CAD, drafting, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a CAD Technician within the United Arab Emirates (UAE), especially within an interior design or architectural firm.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with other CAD software such as Revit or SketchUp.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with design teams and project managers.
