Local Moments is a growing tourism startup that delivers authentic Emirati cultural and desert experiences in Al Quaa—such as Bedouin farm visits, camel racing heritage tours, stargazing nights, and desert camping.

We aim to provide unforgettable memories by connecting visitors with real local hosts and showcasing the heritage of the UAE.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and trustworthy Operations Manager to lead day-to-day activities, coordinate experiences, work with local partners, and ensure guests receive exceptional service.

The ideal candidate is a fluent English speaker, certified Tour Guide in the UAE, and holds a valid UAE Driving License.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Coordination

  • Oversee and manage all Local Moments experiences (stargazing, camel heritage tours, farm visits, desert camping).
  • Coordinate with local hosts, drivers, stargazing experts, camel trainers, and partner farms.
  • Ensure all experiences run smoothly and on time.
  • Conduct site visits and prepare locations before guests arrive.

Customer Experience

  • Welcome guests and ensure high-quality service.
  • Communicate professionally in English (spoken & written).
  • Handle customer questions, special requests, complaints, and booking updates.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all activities follow UAE tourism safety regulations.
  • Maintain guest safety standards during desert and farm activities.
  • Manage documentation, permits, and tour guide requirements.

Management & Reporting

  • Manage bookings, schedules, and team members.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports for the owner.
  • Track costs, suggest improvements, and maintain the quality of experiences.

Requirements

  • Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing) – required.
  • UAE Tour Guide License/Certification – required.
  • Valid UAE Driving License – required.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Experience in tourism, hospitality, or events management is a big advantage.
  • Comfortable working outdoors (desert, farms, nighttime tours).
  • Professional, reliable, and customer-focused.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with tourists from different cultures.
  • Social media or photography knowledge is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Al Ain / Al Quaa areas is an advantage.
  • Problem-solving and ability to work under pressure.
