Job Description

The Business Analyst role with Achieve Group in Dubai supports a leading commodities multinational, focusing on ETRM system enhancement, business process optimization, and change management. This position is suited for a seasoned analyst who can bridge business needs with technical delivery in a fast-paced commodities trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with vendors and system integrators on requirements validation, functional design, test planning, data cleansing, and system migration strategies
  • Act as the system subject matter expert, providing solutions to meet business requirements and resolving complex issues with solution architects and developers
  • Lead or support projects and change initiatives to improve business processes and system efficiency
  • Develop and execute testing strategies, prepare test cases, and perform functional and end-to-end testing
  • Formulate mitigation plans to manage operational risks during system cutovers
  • Serve as the main on-site point of contact after system go-live to respond to user queries and issues
  • Deliver user training sessions and prepare user manuals and process documentation
  • Provide Level 2 support for the ETRM system, managing incidents and change requests with development teams
  • Support the design and implementation of an operational support model with defined SLA metrics
  • Assist IT teams in maintaining stable operations of the core ETRM system and related applications
