Job Title: Senior Odoo Accountant

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: 3,000 AED - 5,000 AED per month (includes all benefits)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Odoo Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a proven track record at a top firm in the retail sector. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ready to take on a challenge and help develop our accounting department into one of the best globally. Complete knowledge of Odoo Applications; accounting, expense, inventory, project management, payroll etc

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and drive financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.
  • Mentor and lead junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Report directly to the Board of Directors on the achievements of the accounting department.
  • Report directly to the Board of Directors on Financial Statements & Reports
  • Create and share the future roadmap of the accounting department with the Board of Directors.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Senior Accountant, and +7 years in Odoo ERP preferably in the retail sector.
  • Must hold one of the following accreditations: CA, CPA, CMA, or CIA (no compromises).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team towards achieving planned goals.
