Hiring: Financial Controller – Insurance / TPA Sector | UAE

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Industry: Insurance – Third Party Administration (TPA)

About the Role:

We're looking for a strategic and experienced Financial Controller to lead the full financial function of a fast-growing Insurance Network (TPA) in the UAE.

This is a senior leadership / CFO-level role — responsible for driving financial strategy, ensuring compliance, managing risk, and providing critical financial insights to support the CEO and Board in decision-making.

You will play a key role in shaping the company's financial future, overseeing all financial operations, reporting, and internal controls while ensuring strong business growth and sustainability.

  • Key Responsibilities
    Financial Strategy & Leadership: Drive the company's financial strategy, advising top management on investment, growth, and risk.
  • Financial Management & Reporting: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and CBUAE regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely submissions to CBUAE, including solvency and capital adequacy reports. Manage VAT and corporate tax compliance.
  • Internal Controls & Risk: Build and maintain strong internal control frameworks to manage financial and operational risks.
  • Treasury & Capital Management: Oversee liquidity, cash flow, banking relationships, and claims fund flows.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with departments (claims, provider networks, IT, legal) to align financial insights with business goals.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (mandatory)
  • Master's degree (MBA or M.Com) preferred

Certifications:

  • CA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA (required)

Experience:

  • 10–12 years of progressive financial leadership experience
  • 3–5 years in a senior finance role within Insurance, TPA, or Healthcare
  • Direct experience with CBUAE reporting and compliance

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong command of IFRS, UAE tax laws, and regulatory frameworks
  • Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel
  • Strategic yet hands-on mindset with excellent decision-making skills
  • High integrity and leadership presence

Preferred Experience

Knowledge of UAE-regulated TPA operations

Experience in claims accounting, provider payments, or insurance network finance

Exposure to financial transformation or automation initiatives
