Job Purpose:

The Senior Project Manager will lead and manage the on-site delivery of Alef Group's real estate projects, ensuring construction is completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. The Senior Project Manager acts as the Developer's representative, coordinating closely with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to drive project success and maintain compliance with all design and regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Represent Alef Group on-site during all construction phases to ensure project delivery aligns with the company's development vision and strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate closely with consultants and contractors to facilitate effective communication and timely execution, ensuring seamless integration across project stakeholders.
  • Review design drawings and technical documentation to ensure alignment with Alef Group's quality standards, brand expectations, and applicable regulatory codes.
  • Monitor site activities for progress, safety, and quality control to ensure timely and high-standard project completion in line with Alef Group's development timelines.
  • Identify and resolve construction risks or delays proactively to maintain project momentum and protect commercial viability.
  • Manage design updates in collaboration with the consultant team to ensure smooth implementation with minimal impact on schedules or costs.
  • Provide technical input and resolve site-level issues with contractors to ensure constructability and minimize disruptions.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory, environmental, and permitting requirements to avoid project delays and ensure legal compliance.
  • Deliver accurate and timely reporting on project milestones to support internal decision-making and provide clear visibility for Alef Group's senior management.
  • Offer technical guidance and leadership to project teams to uphold construction excellence and align with Alef Group's development standards.
  • Participate in internal and external project reviews, inspections, and handover processes to ensure readiness for occupancy and stakeholder satisfaction.

Educational Qualifications, Work Experience, and Skills required:

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in civil engineering and construction project management in a Developer environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and best practices.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Skills required:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Advanced ability to read, interpret, and evaluate engineering and construction documents.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Well-organized, detail-focused, and adept at time management.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Previous experience liaising directly with developers, consultants, and contractors is highly desirable.
