On behalf of Huawei, a world-renowned IT and Communications Company, We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technical Engineer (Civil/Structural) to support the construction and delivery of high-performance data center projects in Dubai. The role requires strong technical expertise in interpreting drawings, preparing submissions, securing authority approvals, and providing on-site resolution to ensure compliance, quality, and timely project execution.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in
    Civil Engineering
    ,
    Architectural Engineering
    ,
    Structural Engineering
    , or a closely related field.
  • Minimum
    3+ years
    of relevant experience in civil/structural technical roles, preferably in
    data center
    , infrastructure, or high-tech construction projects.
  • Proven ability to prepare and manage
    shop drawings, material submissions, and authority approvals
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    construction drawings interpretation
    , specifications, and on-site implementation.
  • Experience coordinating with authorities and ensuring full compliance with local regulations (Dubai/UAE standards).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills for on-site technical challenges.
  • Proficient in preparing technical reports and maintaining accurate project records.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal); Arabic is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in
    technical discussions
    with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and submit detailed
    material submissions, shop drawings
    , and supporting documentation.
  • Interpret and implement
    construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
    on-site.
  • Secure approval for all necessary submissions from relevant authorities (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc.).
  • Maintain full awareness of
    authority requirements
    and ensure compliance to obtain timely approvals.
  • Provide
    technical support during construction
    , troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues promptly.
  • Prepare
    technical reports
    and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
