Broomstick is looking for an Assistant Production Manager with a background in production houses or creative agencies to oversee the end-to-end management of video and motion graphics projects.

The role requires strong traffic management skills, hands-on editing and motion graphics knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with a network of remote teams, vendors, freelance talent, and production partners.

The ideal candidate is a resourceful problem solver who can balance creativity, timelines, and budgets while ensuring the delivery of high-quality content.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Traffic Management

  • Oversee the assigning, scheduling, resourcing, and delivery of all video and motion graphics projects.
  • Manage project pipelines, ensuring deadlines are met and workloads are balanced across internal and external teams.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between creative, accounts, and production teams.
  • The role requires Hands on knowledge of , so any prior knowledge will be preferred.

Creative & Technical Oversight

  • Review and Quality control video edits and motion graphics to ensure they meet brand, creative, and technical standards as well as alignment with client briefs.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to editors and motion designers where necessary.
  • Step in to support editing or motion graphics tasks when quick fixes are required.

Vendor & Talent Management

  • Continuously maintain and leverage an existing network of vendors, freelance videographers, editors, and talent agencies to support project needs.
  • Negotiate costs, contracts, and timelines with third parties.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners to ensure reliability and quality delivery.

Budget & Resource Control

  • Manage production budgets, tracking costs and ensuring resources are used efficiently.
  • Provide recommendations for optimising vendor use and cost-effectiveness.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with internal creative teams, account managers, and clients to ensure alignment on briefs and expectations.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of project progress, risks, and solutions.

Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in a production house, creative agency, or similar environment.
  • Hands-on experience in video editing and motion graphics (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools). Knowledge of Capcut and Gen AI Tools/platforms will be a bonus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong vendor network across videographers, editors, talent companies, and production houses.
  • Excellent organisational, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance creative vision with operational efficiency and budget constraints.
