Job Description
The role of a Sr Specialist Vendor Operations is a vital part of ensuring smooth vendor management processes within an organization. This position entails overseeing and enhancing relationships with vendors, ensuring compliance with contract terms, and optimizing procurement operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The Sr Specialist plays a crucial role in the supply chain management by working closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure that all contracts and agreements are honored and that vendor performance meets organizational standards. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor vendor compliance with organization standards and contractual obligations.

  • Collaborate with procurement teams to review and negotiate vendor contracts.

  • Implement vendor management best practices to optimize procurement processes.
  • Conduct regular vendor assessments and audits to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives and participate in vendor selection process.
  • Provide training to internal teams on vendor management tools and techniques.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and innovations in vendor operations management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in vendor operations or supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience with contract management.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with vendor management software and supply chain management tools.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex situations.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in vendor management tasks.
