We are seeking a skilled Draftsman - Joinery to join our dynamic team at Geometry Home Furniture Manufacturing LLC. The ideal candidate will prepare detailed technical drawings and plans for custom furniture and joinery projects, collaborating closely with designers, project managers, and the production team to ensure accurate and high-quality outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed joinery and furniture drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Interpret design concepts, sketches, and specifications into technical drawings.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to finalize drawings for production.
- Ensure drawings comply with technical standards, dimensions, and material specifications.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback from the production team or clients.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of all drawings and revisions.
- Assist the production team with clarifications and technical guidance on drawings.
- Support project planning by providing accurate drawings and material estimations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Draftsman in joinery, furniture manufacturing, or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other relevant CAD software.
- Strong understanding of furniture construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
