Salary Range: AED 3,000 – 4,000 per month

Role Overview

The Sewer / Wastewater Treatment Worker is responsible for supporting the operation, cleaning, and maintenance of sewage and wastewater treatment systems, including sewer lines, treatment tanks, and plant equipment, ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in operation and maintenance of STP / WWTP systems
  • Clean and unclog sewer lines, drainage systems, manholes, and chambers
  • Remove sludge, debris, and waste from treatment tanks and pipelines
  • Support operation of pumps, valves, blowers, and basic mechanical equipment
  • Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping of treatment plant areas
  • Assist supervisors and operators during plant startup and shutdown
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures at all times
  • Use PPE and follow safety instructions strictly
  • Report any blockages, leaks, or equipment issues immediately

Requirements

  • Experience:
  • Experience in sewage, drainage, or wastewater treatment preferred
  • Fresh candidates with manual labor experience may also be considered
  • Physical Condition:
  • Must be physically fit and able to work in outdoor and plant environments
  • Skills:
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
  • Team player with a responsible attitude
  • Language:
  • Hindi / Tagalog / Basic English communication is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3, AED4,000.00 per month
