Job Overview:

The Business Analyst
having data governance experience will act as the vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams, playing a key role in the successful design, adoption, and operationalization of enterprise governance controls.

Job Resposilibilites

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and process owners to gather and document data governance requirements, analyze workflows, and ensure new governance practices align with business objectives and compliance demands.
  • Map and document data elements across systems (definitions, usage, lineage, controls), supporting the identification and appointment of data stewards and owners for key assets.
  • Create and maintain business process documentation, glossary terms, and governance workflows; facilitate review and rationalization of current state and target state data processes.
  • Support the Project Manager and Governance Lead in business analysis for risk management, regulatory alignment, and solution design, ensuring that user requirements are translated accurately into governance practices, technical tools, and operational improvements.
  • The ideal candidate demonstrates expertise in data governance concepts, strong analytical skills, clear communication, thorough understanding of regulatory standards (such as
    DAMA and ISO
    ), and proven experience facilitating organization-wide adoption of governance best practices.
