Finance Director

Job Purpose

The Finance Director will provide strategic, financial, and digital leadership across the Group's diversified businesses, including automotive auctions, vehicle imports, motors trading, spare parts, real estate, shipping, and logistics.

The role is accountable for group financial strategy, treasury and banking, landed cost management, investment oversight, compliance, ERP/CRM integration, MIS reporting, digitization, and process automation, ensuring profitability, governance, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Group Financial Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and execute group-wide financial strategy aligned with short- and long-term business objectives.
• Act as a strategic advisor to the Board, supporting decisions on expansion, investments, restructuring, and digital transformation.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and multi-year financial planning.

2. Financial Control, MIS & Governance

• Establish and enforce financial policies, SOPs, internal controls, and approval matrices across all group entities.
• Oversee Group MIS reporting, delivering timely and accurate financial and operational dashboards, variance analysis, and KPIs for senior management and the Board.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements and management reports.

3. Audit, Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, acting as the primary liaison with auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including returns, reconciliations, audits, and advisory matters.
• Oversee Corporate Tax (CT) compliance, including impact assessment, documentation, filing, and coordination with tax advisors.
• Ensure compliance with all other statutory and regulatory requirements, including ESR, transfer pricing (where applicable), and regulatory disclosures.

4. Treasury, Banking & Cash Flow Management

• Lead treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, and fund allocation.
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, including credit facilities, guarantees, trade finance, and letters of credit (LCs).
• Optimize funding structures for imports, inventory financing, capex, and investments.

5. International Trade, Imports & Landed Cost

• Oversee end-to-end landed cost management for imported vehicles, machinery, and spare parts, including purchase cost, freight, insurance, customs duties, port charges, and logistics.
• Ensure accurate cost allocation to support pricing, margin control, and profitability analysis.
• Work closely with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to reduce import costs and cycle time.

6. Automotive Auctions, Spare Parts & Procurement Finance

• Provide financial oversight for vehicle auctions, motors trading, and spare parts procurement.
• Evaluate supplier contracts, pricing models, and procurement strategies.
• Monitor inventory valuation, aging, slow-moving stock, and cost-to-sale ratios.

7. Real Estate & Asset Management

• Oversee financial performance of real estate assets, including ROI analysis, rental income forecasting, capex planning, and asset valuation.
• Support feasibility studies, acquisitions, disposals, and investment decisions.

8. Investment & Portfolio Management

• Oversee group and personal investment portfolios, ensuring alignment with Board-approved risk and return objectives.
• Prepare performance reviews and strategic recommendations for investment optimization.

9. ERP, CRM, Digitization & Process Automation

• Lead financial operations using SAP Business One (B1), ensuring integration with procurement, inventory, logistics, sales, and finance modules.
• Coordinate with IT and in-house development teams for upgradation and enhancement of the existing in-house CRM, ensuring alignment with business and financial processes.
• Sponsor and drive digitization and process automation initiatives, including:
• Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
• Order-to-Cash (O2C)
• Inventory and landed cost automation
• MIS dashboards and reporting automation
• Ensure data integrity, system controls, and process efficiency through automation and analytics.

10. Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

• Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making through dashboards, analytics, and real-time reporting.
• Enable leadership with actionable insights for performance monitoring and strategic planning.

11. Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Group Finance team and finance–IT coordination functions.
• Build a culture of accountability, compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Professional Qualification: CA / CPA / ACA / CMA (Mandatory)
• Experience:
• Minimum 15+ years of progressive finance experience ( Mandatory)
• At least 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Sr. Finance Manager / Group Finance Head) (Mandatory)
• Proven Experience in handling large teams. (Mandatory)
• Proven Experience in handling Group of companies. (Mandatory)
• Industry Exposure: Automotive, auctions, trading, logistics, shipping, real estate, or import-driven businesses
• Systems & Digital Exposure:
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business One (B1)
• Proven experience in ERP–CRM integration, digitization, and process automation initiatives
• Proven Experience in ERP implementation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
