Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for a Senior Site Architect to join our construction site supervision team located in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Only candidates currently based in the UAE with UAE experience are eligible to apply.

Preference for candidates with Engineering Consultancy experience in post-contract supervision.

Job Description

  • Following up Site construction according to Contract drawings & Technical Specifications.
  • Checking and commenting Contractors Shop drawings and answering Contractors RFIs.
  • Study and analyses various finishing material submittals & sample materials.
  • Resolving site coordination problems between Architectural, Civil & MEP disciplines.
  • Revising Design Drawings and Architectural Details.
  • Representing the site team in meetings with the Client for progress and technical details.
  • Supervising site works including issuing site instructions and NCRs.
  • Reviewing Material submittals, method statement & specifications.
  • Site inspections for finishing work regarding specifications.
  • Reporting to the Resident Engineer on a regular basis regarding progress, design, quality & site issues.
  • Responsible for the checking of proposed design drawings and other related Detailed Drawing accuracy prior to release of these drawings for construction implementation.
  • Responsible for monitoring quality of executed works in the construction site.
  • Ensure the coordination with the project stake holders from the conception of the project, development stage and realization of the final product.
  • Control and develop a Comprehensive Reporting System and liaise with the Client.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Min 14 years' experience required in related field.
  • Must have Engineering consultancy experience in UAE
  • Candidates must have sound knowledge about the site procedures
  • Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations, with a focus on compliance and safety standards.
  • Fluency in English is essential. Ability to think critically under pressure to resolve site challenges effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members in a dynamic environment.
  • Physical ability to conduct site visits and assessments, including the capacity to navigate varying terrains safely.
