Wisewell is building connected wellness products that combine hardware, IoT, and software to deliver measurable health, sustainability, and operational outcomes. Our platform spans physical devices, internal control systems, customer-facing applications, and data-driven automation.

We are transitioning from an early startup phase into a structured scale-up. This role is our first dedicated Product Manager hire and will play a critical role in establishing how product work gets done across the company.

The Role

We are looking for a highly structured, execution-focused Product Manager to work directly with the CPO and support delivery across our internal backend systems, IoT-enabled devices, and customer-facing channels (web, mobile, touch interfaces, and control center tools).

This is a hands-on role with a strong emphasis on:

• Backlog ownership
• Delivery execution
• Process definition
• Clear documentation
• Cross-team coordination

You will help turn strategy into well-defined, shippable work, ensuring our growing engineering team stays focused, unblocked, and aligned.

What You'll Own

Product Execution & Delivery (Primary Focus)

Own and maintain the product backlog across:

• Internal backend services
• IoT platform & device interfaces
• Control Center (internal ops tools)
• Website and mobile applications

Break down roadmap initiatives into:

• Epics
• User stories
• Acceptance criteria

Run day-to-day product execution using:

• Kanban initially, transitioning to a hybrid Scrum/Kanban model based on the product needs

Ensure predictable delivery, clear prioritization, and minimal execution noise.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with:

• Backend and frontend engineers
• Firmware / hardware partners
• Design
• Operations, field service, and customer support

Act as the central coordination point between product intent and engineering execution. Translate operational and customer needs into clear product requirements.

Documentation & Process

Own product documentation including:

• PRDs and technical specs
• Workflow diagrams and process maps
• SOPs for internal tools and operations
• Release notes and change logs

Help define and continuously improve:

• Product development processes
• Delivery rituals
• Cross-team ways of working

Data & Insights (Supporting)

Use data to support prioritization and decision-making. Work with analytics, dashboards, and basic data visualizations where relevant. Leverage LLMs and AI tools to improve speed, clarity, and documentation quality.

You are successful if:

• The product backlog is clean, trusted, and actionable
• Delivery becomes more predictable and less reactive
• Teams are unblocked, focused, and executing faster
• Product documentation is clear, current, and actually used
• Fewer last-minute issues escalate to the CPO

Required Experience & Skills

Must-Haves

• 3–5 years of experience as a Product Manager
• Shipped hardware and/or IoT products
• Strong experience working with:
• Backend systems
• APIs and data flows
• Complex, multi-surface products
• Comfortable working directly with engineers and reading technical documentation
• Hands-on experience with:
• Backlog management
• Kanban and Scrum
• Jira / Linear / similar tools
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills
• Based in Dubai

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with internal tools, ops platforms, or control centers
• Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools
• Experience in early-stage startups or scale-ups
• Exposure to mobile apps, touch interfaces, or embedded UIs
