This senior leadership position offers the opportunity to lead commercial and cost management teams across a portfolio of landmark developments in the UAE, including luxury hotels, high-rise towers, mixed-use masterplans, and villa communities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in client-side cost consultancy, experience managing large project teams, and the ability to provide high-level strategic advice to major developers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all commercial aspects of multiple large-scale projects across the region.
  • Provide strategic cost and commercial leadership throughout the project lifecycle from feasibility and pre-contract through to post-contract delivery.
  • Oversee preparation of cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation.
  • Manage procurement strategies, tender evaluations, and contract negotiations.
  • Administer FIDIC or similar contracts, variations, claims, and final accounts.
  • Act as the primary client interface, building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and developers.
  • Drive value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop cost management teams, ensuring consistent delivery of best-in-class consultancy services.
  • Support business development activities, including proposals, bids, and presentations.
  • Report directly to the Regional Director / Director of Cost Management.

Project Portfolio

Projects span a wide range of prestigious developments, including:

  • Luxury hotels and resorts
  • High-rise residential and commercial towers
  • Mixed-use developments and masterplans
  • High-end villa communities and leisure projects
  • F&B hospitality projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
  • 15 20 years experience in cost or commercial management roles, including at least 5 years in a senior/leadership capacity.
  • Strong background in consultancy-side delivery and client interfacing.
  • Proven experience on hospitality, mixed-use, or high-rise developments in the GCC.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • MRICS accreditation required.
  • Previous experience in the UAE or wider Middle East essential.
Desired Candidate Profile
