Role purpose
Drive the post-award expediting process from PO release to GRV/close-out, safeguarding schedule, cost, and quality for marine vessel and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Obtain supplier acknowledgements, production/shipping plans, and firm delivery dates; keep Oracle Fusion dates accurate (required vs. promised).
  • Maintain a live expediting tracker; publish late-PO/critical items lists and lead weekly calls with suppliers and end users.
  • Coordinate inspections, QA/QC/FAT where required; ensure compliance with specs, T&Cs, and Incoterms.
  • Liaise with Logistics on pickup, freight, customs clearance, and documentation (PI, COO, BL, packing list); ensure ASN/booking and follow through to GRV.
  • Work with MO/Warehouse to prioritize receipts, resolve shortages/damages, and close discrepancies with AP (invoice/PO mismatches).
  • Support framework/blanket orders and critical spares; escalate risks early with recovery plans.
  • Produce daily/weekly expediting dashboards and supplier performance reports (OTIF, delay root causes).
