Job Description:

Civil Engineer

Dubai, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Irrigation Engineer for Infrastructure and landscaping project to join our team In this role you will get to assist the Resident Engineer in administering the operational functions of the day-to-day activities on the project with respect to assigned works.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Generally assist RE and deputize when required.
• Well aware of requirements specified in the Contract Documents and following applicable duties pertained to applied category.
• Good knowledge of the irrigation networks and automated irrigations system and control system. Also understanding of different types of landscaping and their irrigation requirements.
• Supervise Contractor's works to achieve and maintain required O&M, construction in accordance with the Contract Documents.
• Participate in contract administration.
• Review Contractor's submissions.
• Provide all necessary on-site direction and issue site instructions.
• Supervise site inspection staff.
• Check measure of work done.
• Observe site safety practices.
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanships.
• Record and display progress versus program.
• Prepare progress report.
• Ensure correctness and completeness of as-built drawings.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 12 years post graduate experience in site supervision, and construction management of major infrastructure/ community development projects within UAE preferably Dubai.
• Demonstrable experience in all aspects of civil supervision of major road and general infrastructure projects preferably in Dubai.
• Must have sound knowledge about contractual relationships.
• Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software.
• Excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills in English.
