About the Job - TECHNICAL DETAILDER – FIT OUT/ EXHIBITION STANDS

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Detailer / Draughtsman with a strong background in interior fit-out and joinery works.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate shop drawings, detailed joinery and fit-out layouts, and coordinating with the design and production teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive shop drawings, detailed joinery drawings, and material specifications in accordance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate with interior designers, project managers, and production teams to ensure clarity and feasibility of drawings.
  • Develop detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings for joinery and fit-out elements such as furniture, wall claddings, doors, counters, and partitions.
  • Conduct site visits to collect accurate measurements and understand installation challenges.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with local authority regulations and project specifications. Modify and revise drawings based on feedback from clients, consultants, or internal teams.
  • Maintain an organized library of drawings and related documentation. Work collaboratively with procurement and estimation teams to assist in material take-offs and BOQ preparations.
  • Ensure deadlines are met without compromising on quality and accuracy.

Desired candidate profile

Competencies:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven UAE experience in technical detailing within the fit-out and joinery industry.
  • Diploma or degree in Architecture / Interior Design / Engineering or related field.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software. Knowledge of Revit or 3D visualization tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of joinery materials, production techniques, and installation methods.
  • Good knowledge of UAE building codes and joinery standards. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Preferred candidates available in UAE & who can join immediately.
