Pre‑Sales Solution Architect – Network & Security

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Pre‑Sales Solution Architect – Network & Security to lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise networking and cybersecurity solutions for large corporate and government environments. This role is ideal for a technically strong, client-facing professional who thrives in pre-sales engagements and designs future-ready IT infrastructure solutions for complex, high-availability environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end enterprise network and security architectures across LAN, WAN, data centers, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Lead technical discovery workshops to capture business, technical, and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales and bid teams on RFPs, tenders, technical proposals, and solution presentations.
  • Develop and present High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and Bills of Materials (BoMs).
  • Work closely with OEM partners to finalize technical designs and solution configurations.
  • Deliver technical presentations to C-level executives, decision-makers, and technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure solutions align with security best practices and comply with regulatory frameworks such as NESA and ISO standards.
  • Utilize automation, orchestration, and monitoring tools to improve deployment accuracy, operational efficiency, and service reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance for advanced troubleshooting and optimization of enterprise network and security services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise network and security solutions.
  • CCIE certification (Enterprise, Security, or Data Center) is mandatory.
  • Additional expert-level certifications such as HCIE, Aruba Design Expert, Fortinet NSE, F5, VMware NSX, or Brocade are highly desirable.
  • Exposure to project delivery frameworks and basic project management methodologies is an advantage.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in enterprise networking technologies including routing, switching, SDN, firewalls, VPNs, NAC, and load balancing.
  • Strong architectural knowledge across LAN, WAN, data center, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Advanced understanding of networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, ACI, TCP/IP, and EVPN.
  • Hands-on experience with security architectures including IPsec, GRE, MACsec, segmentation, and secure transport design.
  • Strong experience within vendor ecosystems such as Cisco (Catalyst, Nexus, ACI, DNA Center), along with exposure to F5, VMware NSX, and NAC solutions like Cisco ISE or Forescout.
  • Working knowledge of automation and orchestration using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, technical presentation, and documentation capabilities.
  • Lead the design of mission-critical network and security architectures for enterprise and government clients.
