Senior Automotive Technician – Mechanical

We are a well-established auto maintenance workshop in Sharjah looking to hire a senior, hands-on automotive technician with strong mechanical expertise bumper-to-bumper.

This role is ideal for a technician who is confident in engine, gearbox, and suspension work, and who enjoys solving mechanical problems logically — not just replacing parts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engine overhauls (petrol & diesel)
  • Gearbox repairs and overhauls (manual & automatic)
  • Suspension, steering, drivetrain repairs
  • Diagnosing mechanical noises, vibrations, and failures
  • General mechanical repairs from minor to major jobs
  • Basic electrical work:
  • Re-wiring
  • Soldering
  • Repairing damaged wires and connectors

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5–7 years hands-on workshop experience
  • Strong background in:
  • European cars (Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi)

OR

  • Toyota / Japanese vehicles
  • Confident working independently on major mechanical jobs
  • Good mechanical intuition and fault-finding ability

Electrical & Diagnostics

  • Advanced electrical diagnostics experience is NOT mandatory
  • You will be guided and trained on diagnostic procedures
  • However, you must be able to:
  • Do proper wiring repairs
  • Solder connections correctly
  • Work cleanly and safely with vehicle wiring
