Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Estimation Engineer - Civil (Oil & Gas) at our Sharjah location. The primary responsibilities include preparing detailed cost estimates for civil works, analyzing project specifications and requirements, evaluating tender documents, conducting research, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure cost-effective solutions. The role involves optimizing estimation methodologies to align with project timelines and budgets while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in BOQ preparation and project estimation to ensure accurate costing and planning
  • Strong technical expertise in civil engineering and familiarity with industry standards and construction techniques
  • Negotiation and stakeholder management skills to establish cost-effective procurement and collaboration with vendors
  • Research and analytical skills to evaluate project specifications, market trends, and material costs
  • Experienced in cost optimization and value engineering strategies
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple estimation tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools for estimation and project management
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • Previous experience within the oil and gas sector, particularly in EPC or EPF projects, is an advantage
